Bring on the sand and water toys-Stratton Brook Park has enough soft beach sand and easy-entry water for the kids to play all morning! There are plenty of shaded picnic tables so pack a lunch, too!

New Moms’/Soon to Be Moms’ Discussion Group

Are you a new mom or soon to be mom? Would you like to get out of the house for a while and chat with other new moms? Come join our discussion group and feel free to bring your infant with you. We’ll have some coffee and talk about the joys and challenges of being a new parent. We may not have a solution to your sleep deprivation, but we are sure to have a few laughs.
Fishing for Fun
Join us for a fun day of make believe fishing. We will fish for plastic fish in the kiddy pool with a pole and use a net in the water table to scoop up critters. A fun theme snack will be providing and a craft activity to follow. Ages 18 months +. Maximum of 8 children. Rain date is July 17.

Come and enjoy the water spray park, lagoon bumper boats, pedal boats on Willow Lake, Steamer Railroad train ride, mini-golf, walking path, tennis, playgrounds, picnic area, the Christenson Zoo, and Richard S. Holden Visitor Center! So much to do, and so little time! Wednesday is ½ price day for ALL rides!
Farm Day at Town Farm Dairy
Town Farm Dairy, 71 Wolcott Road, Simsbury (Across from Simsbury airport)
Come learn about our dairy farm in Simsbury. Get a behind the scenes tour including a milking demonstration (your toddler can milk a cow!), samples of organic milk and a game or two. Wear clothes that might get dirty. This event will happen rain or shine! Geared for ages 2 and older. Limit 12 children.
Summer Olympics Party
Bring your future athlete over to test their skills for the summer games. We will have a fun filled morning of tumbling, swimming, running and water balloon shot put. An official awards ceremony will end the morning for each child to get a chance to grace the podium and earn an Olympic medal. A healthy snack will be provided to feed the superstars. Maximum of 8 children. Ages 2 and up.
Not So New Moms Need to Get Out of the House?
Did you recently have a baby and would like to connect with other Mom’s? Stop by my house for coffee, a donut and some laughs. Maximum 6 with infants 0-6 months.
